Most of his works depict the unexperienced era, and through his keen deconstruction and extension of historical images, he presents those forgotten social realities in front of the viewers like a fantasy. In a sense, these works are a kind of collective subconscious reflex, which has unconsciously penetrated into the heads of each of our generations. The series of works “Collective Memory” is centered on the theme of “collective memory”, synthesizing the memories of a generation into a relatively stable segment, from which the viewer can find similar scenes. Collective memory is the process and outcome of sharing the past among members of a social group, and it is the collection of meaning, culture, value and experience of a certain group. For members who cannot experience the “past”, collective memory is the underlying source of their sense of ethnic identity, which is not the equivalent of history, but transcends the recounting of the historical situation, and has become a spiritual identity of an ethnic group or a generation, depending largely on current beliefs, interests, and expectations.

作品大都描绘着那个未曾经历时代，通过其对于历史图像的敏锐解构与延展，把那些被遗忘的社会瞬间如梦境般地呈现在观者面前。在某种意义上说，这些画面是一种集体潜意识反射，并在不知不觉中渗透进了我们每一代人的脑海中。《集体记忆》这一系列作品围绕着“集体记忆”这一主题展开，把一代人的记忆合成了一个相对稳定的片段，观者可以从记忆中找到相似的画面。集体记忆是一个社会群体的成员共享往事的过程和结果，是一个群体意义、文化、价值、经验的集合，对于无法经历“过去”群体成员来说，集体记忆就是其族群认同感的基本来源，集体记忆不等于历史，它超越了对历史情境的叙述，内化成为了一个族群或一代人的思想、智慧、价值、文化认同以及与其他族群所区别的精神标识，人们如果构建集体记忆，很大程度上取决于当下的理念，利益和期待。
