Junlei Zhang (b.1989) was born in China and currently lives in Hangzhou.

He graduated with a bachelor's degree in Lacquer Art from the China Academy of Art, under the tutelage of Tang Mingxiu. He also earned a master's degree from the Basic Visual Research Institute of the School of Intermedia Art at the China Academy of Art, where he studied under Zhang Peili and Geng Jianyi.

Miao Tan (b.1998), Born in China, based in London.

Ziqi(Tree) Xu (b.2000) is a visual artist currently living and working between China and the United Kingdom. His recent practices focus on the complexities of human identity, violence, and the boundaries between different narrative spaces. Through photography, installations, performance and philosophical reflection, he aims to critique the new form of violence brought by quotidian apparatus in the up-to-date world. In his research and practices, he uses the field of art to expand ‘inhuman horizon’ that allows people to unveil the Ideological contamination embedded in contemporary technology. He holds a MA in Contemporary Photography; Practices and Philosophies at Central Saint Martins and a BFA in Photography at Communication University of Zhejiang.

Jiaqi Lyu(b.2001) Born in Harbin, based in Harbin.

Jiaqi Lyu’s practice is grounded in the haunting interplay between an unrealized past and a perpetually unattainable promised future. Her paintings draw inspiration from archival images and footage uploaded to the decentralized digital realm by anonymous users, exploring the intersections of heritage, memory, and history. Through her art, Lyu constructs a visual ethnography that weaves cultural inquiry with personal narrative, critically examining how histories are constructed and how individuals navigate the spectral echoes of their cultural landscape. Approaching these themes from a semi-autobiographical perspective, Lyu looks into the complexities of belonging experienced by individuals situated within the matrix of history and contemporary realities. Her ongoing research focuses on the absences and omissions that characterize the historical narrative of Northeast China. By delving into the fragmented and overlooked layers of the region's history, Lyu revisits Northeast China’s landscape as both a cultural and historical borderland, offering an alternative representation of people and places through a postcolonial lens. Lyu is currently pursuing her MFA degree at Goldsmiths University, and holds a BA(Hons) in Fine Art at Chelsea College of Art, University of the Arts London.

Yuda Qian (b. 2005), Born in Chengdu, based in Hangzhou

His artistic mediums and styles are primarily performance, video, and photography. At the core of his practice is the use of lived experience as a foundation, exploring questions of identity, memory, social ethics, and existence through ritualized means in public, social, and natural environments. He always feels a sense of indebtedness towards his works.

Ni Qin（b.1986）Born in China，based in Paris.

Qin Ni is a Chinese artist who’s currently pursuing her career in France, Paris. Her creativity is displayed through various art forms such as painting, visual installations, and video production. In French, the word ‘history’ can carry two different meanings whenever the first letter of the word is a capital letter or not. Qin Ni is constantly trying to combine her owns thoughts, emotions, and memories (h) in her art to eventually assign a spot to each piece in her virtual museum (H). Her entire body of artwork is registered, classified, archived, and made public through public exhibitions during which new collective memories are created. Qin Ni studied painting in the Beaux-Arts Academy of Tsingua University in China where she graduated a bachelor’s degree. Subsequently, she decided to pursue further education in France where she earned a diploma of higher education in plastic arts at the Beaux-Arts of Nantes as well as a Master’s degree in Multimedia at University of Angers.
