The Proof Project is an ongoing exhibition project within Rendering of Absence, dedicated to presenting artists’ personal experimental practices.

What is exhibited here is the artist’s probing, deduction, trial-and-error, and improvisation at the edges of their practice. The focus is on the presentation of outcomes — especially those experimental works that exist between the “unfinished” and the “finished,” research-driven or adventurous in nature.

Layover Studio Project is a long-term, sporadic layover studio initiative initiated by Rendering of Absence. We offer temporary studio space for artists passing through Guangzhou — not a sofa, but a place where you can actually work.
